ALL-NEW COAST TO COAST FESTIVAL COMING TO LONDON IN 2009
Inaugural event to be held at the London Convention Centre February 28 & March 1
June 25, 2008

The first-ever Coast to Coast Festival and Canadian Travel Show will be held at the London Convention Centre on Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1, 2009. The event will be a one-of-a-kind experience produced by London-based CPT Entertainment Inc.

“The Coast to Coast Festival and Canadian Travel Show will be a celebration of all that makes Canada unique,” said Kevin Bulmer of CPT Entertainment. “We’ve been working at this concept for a little over a year and we’re very excited to bring to life something new that is truly Canadian. We feel it’s time.”

Guests of the Coast to Coast Festival and Canadian Travel Show will enjoy experiencing the many sights, sounds, people and places from across the country all under one roof, while travelers will find a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet with industry professionals and explore new and exciting Canadian destinations and activities, from daytrips to once-in-lifetime travel adventures and all things in between.

“Canada is so rich, culturally and artistically, and we feel it should be celebrated,” said Bulmer. “From our incredible geography to our many landmarks, attractions, music, food, world-renowned people and organizations and more; there is so much to be proud of in this country. Our challenge is to bring together as many of those elements as we can so that they may be enjoyed all in one place over the two days of the event.”

Incorporated in London in June of 2007, CPT Entertainment quickly established itself as a group capable of producing premier events that are interactive, family oriented and that draw a lot of people into the city. At the first such event, the CPT Racing Experience (held in March of this year), survey data indicated that 92% of guests felt the event was good value while 83% said they would be back for the next show. Over 70% of attendees came from outside London.

A similar result is expected for the Coast to Coast Festival and Canadian Travel Show.

“Our experience tell us that not only are people looking for something a little more creative, interactive and upbeat, but that they’re willing to come to London to find it,” Bulmer said. “That same trend was reflected by some figures released by our tourism officials recently. That’s great for our city, and we’ll look to continue that trend with the Coast to Coast Festival.”

Additional details on special exhibits, attractions and displays will be announced as they are confirmed and will be posted at the event’s official website, www.cptcoast.com. Exhibitor applications, floor plans, and other information pertaining to the event are available online now. In many cases, exhibitors and show sponsors may receive early booking or multi-show discounts. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available.
