CPT Entertainment Inc., an event and media management company based in London, has announced an all-new event called “The Hockey Show.” The consumer show-styled event will take place February 18 – 20, 2011 at the Canada Building at Western Fairgrounds in London.

Known for interactive, vibrant and family friendly events, CPT Entertainment plans to bring the same qualities to The Hockey Show. It will be a unique gathering and celebration of all things hockey and the community of those involved in hockey in Canada.

“We’ve been working on this concept for quite a little while,” said Kevin Bulmer of CPT Entertainment. “We’ve spoken with a lot of retailers, visited other hockey-related events throughout North America and put some ‘feelers’ out to some industry experts. The message to us is pretty clear: this market is looking for an event like this.”

Hockey has already become a part of CPT Entertainment’s marketing effort. CPT recently entered into a promotional partnership with the London Knights Hockey Club, both on their own and through its affiliation with Delaware Speedway (CPT Entertainment is the track’s official sales and marketing partner). The partnership will see CPT Entertainment and Delaware Speedway backlit signs erected at the John Labatt Centre, a Delaware Speedway ad on the Knights’ website and a team appearance by the team at the race track at some point in the 2010 season.

At The Hockey Show, exhibitors and attendees alike can expect a wide range of products, information, interaction and fun, including:

- Promotion of hockey and all the related health and well-being benefits

- Hockey-related retail products and services – new and old – all under one roof for all of SW Ontario’s current and future hockey players

- An opportunity for customers to speak one-on-one with retailers and other industry experts

- Promotion of local, regional and National hockey, teams, leagues, its lifestyle, health benefits and related businesses

- Resources for all people in the hockey industry (players, coaches, arena operators, tournament operators, referees,  etc ) to help them become more successful, whatever their goals may be.

- Resources for people interested in potentially becoming involved in hockey

- A first-rate entertainment and educational experience for all in attendance
