CPT ENTERTAINMENT CELEBRATES BUSINESS LAUNCH
Event Management, Creative Media company new to Southwestern Ontario
July 31, 2007

CPT Entertainment Inc., a new event management and creative media company from London, Ontario, celebrated its official corporate launch on Sunday, July 29th on board Macassa Bay Boat Tours out of Sarnia. The event played host to many corporate guests from London, Sarnia and Wallaceburg and featured the release of a new CD by CPT Entertainment partner, Kevin Bulmer.

“It was a great day,” Bulmer said of the cruise aboard Macassa Bay. “We are very grateful for the support of all our friends and business associates and we’re excited about offering them some unique opportunities very soon.”

Feedback from the initial event, a scenic cruise up the St. Clair River, has been overwhelmingly positive. “Mike Saunders and with the crew of the Macassa Bay are a fantastic group to work with,” Bulmer said. “I hope other businesses will consider calling Mike for their events. It’s a fantastic environment and a wonderful group of people. We would recommend them entirely.”

CPT Entertainment is currently in negotiations to confirm its first major events. London and Sarnia are both being considered for events as soon as 2008.

“We were hoping to have our ‘benchmark’ events in place in time to announce on Sunday, however we need a little more time to get details wrapped up,” said Bulmer. “But we’ll have some exciting news to share soon.”

CPT Entertainment has put together a strong team that features a wide variety of individual skills and experience. Working alongside Bulmer in the initial stages is Jeff Graham of London, who is trained and experienced in video production, graphic design and event administration.

Bulmer’s resume includes six years of announcing, event marketing and management at Delaware Speedway; On-air radio experience in both Sarnia and London (Bulmer currently announces part-time on weekends on BX 93); and a host of speaking, MC and musical projects and performances. He has written over 260 original songs and has been a member of SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) since 2001.

“Between Jeff and myself, and the many people that we are bringing into the team, we are equipped to offer unique experience-oriented event marketing opportunities. We can also complement that corporate imaging through strategic video production, including original music,” Bulmer said.

Bulmer says interest level has been high. “Actually, we’re working hard to catch up to the opportunities already in front of us,” he laughed. “We’re excited to get started.”

CPT Entertainment, already a member of both the London and Wallaceburg Chamber of Commerce, will look to complement, promote and partner with other existing events and related organizations.

“I learned in my time at the race track that you can get a lot more accomplished if you work together and share resources,” Bulmer said. “There is a lot to be proud of in this part of Ontario and we feel it should be celebrated and supported.”
